2012 Operating Schedule, Weather & Raincheck Info

 

 

Park Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

Are there days when Water World will not open due to weather?

Yes. Because we are an outdoor park with all water attractions, there are days we might not be able to open for guest comfort or safety. Forecasted high temperatures for our area must generally be at least 72 degrees or warmer (we also take into account cloud cover, wind and precipitation on these cool days). We typically make these decisions by 9am and we suggest you checkout our website or call us for updates on questionable weather days.

What happens if it rains during my visit to the park?

We will close our attractions when unsafe conditions are present (as determined by Management in conjunction with our weather service).  We will re-open when weather conditions in our immediate area are safe to do so (we cannot guarantee ideal weather conditions). In the event we cannot re-open our attractions within 60 minutes, you'll receive a full or half-day ticket for a return visit this season or next (you must exchange today' ticket stub). No refunds are issued regardless of time spent in the park. While we cannot issue raincheck tickets before 60 minutes of attraction closure, we do offer a raincheck waitlist at Guest Services. No refunds are issued. There are no refunds or rainchecks on incidental expenses (such as Personal Tube Rental, Tube Valet, etc).

End of Season Information:

Water World is CLOSED Monday, August 20th thru Friday, August 24th and Monday, August 27th thru Friday, August 31st. . Monday, September 3rd is our last day of the 2012 season.

What is limited/rotating attractions? Due to staff returning to school, some attractions and services may be closed or on a delayed opening. Normal Admission rates apply. This is typically a great week to visit since park attendance is lighter than normal. The following attractions/services are scheduled to be closed or on a delayed opening.  Other attractions/services may be included as needed to the closed/delayed opening list:

• Monday, August 13th thru Wednesday, August 15th: White Lightning, Jet Stream, Pirate's Plunge and the Warming Pool. On Wednesday, no Aokee's, TB Pizza or Ringmaster Dessert Food Stands.
• Thursday, August 16th and Friday, August 17th: White Lightning, Tandemonium, Jet Stream, Pirate's Plunge, Tortuga Run, The Space Bowl and the warming pool. There will be no Tube Valet service either day. Ringmaster Desserts, Key Largo Cafe, Thunder Bay Pizza, Grill/Burrito Wally's and Aokees food service locations will be closed.
