While alcohol can be a part of your Water World experience, it should not be your main experience.

Guest safety and summer’s best memories are our top priority.  While Water World offers alcoholic beverages for sale inside the park, alcohol should not be the focus of your visit. As such, Water World has specific guidelines to encourage responsible alcohol consumption.

We allow guests to purchase up to three alcoholic beverages per day. Certain special events may have a different total limit.  Only one alcoholic beverage purchase per guest per transaction is allowed.  Every guest wishing to purchase an alcoholic beverage must personally present their identification (regardless of age) at time of each purchase.  Your identification must be presented to Water World staff at time of purchase for it to be verified and scanned. You must show valid identification for EVERY alcohol purchase.

By attempting to purchase alcoholic beverages at a Hyland Hills Park & Recreation facility or event, you agree to the electronic scanning of your identification document using a third-party electronic solution.  Certain pieces of information, as scanned from your identification document, such as date-of-birth, age, sex, city and state of residence, used for time-of-purchase age, identity verification, and number of alcoholic beverages purchased, may be retained by Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District for a period of up to 12 months.

Please note: No food or beverages are allowed in any water attractions or pools.

Valid identification accepted by Water World includes the following:

State issued Driver’s License.

State issued Identification Card.

Passport (Domestic or International).

Military Identification Card.

State of Colorado Digital Driver’s License in the myColorado app.

  • Expired: Any ID that has passed its expiration date is invalid. This includes driver’s licenses, passports, and any other government-issued ID cards.
