After more than 40 summers and countless memories, the time has come to say goodbye to Calypso Cove – home to Screamin’ Mimi, Tortuga Run, Pirates Plunge, the Caribbean Family Adventure play structure, and Wally World.

Starting on August 25, Calypso Cove will be retired and re-imagined to make way for an exciting new chapter at Water World. These changes will bring fresh attractions and modern amenities that will better serve families, groups, and guests of all ages for years to come.

We know how much Calypso Cove means to our community, and that saying goodbye is never easy.

That’s why we’re inviting you to help us celebrate the joy these attractions have brought to millions of guests over the decades with a Farewell Celebration on Sunday, August 24.

Join us at Calypso Cove from Noon-4:30pm to relive the magic with one last ride, collect commemorative swag, enjoy free popsicles, dance with our Water World mascots, and enter to win your very own piece of Water World history – a branded Mimi sled!

• 12pm: Mascot Dance Party & Swag Drop
• 2pm: Mascot Dance Party & Swag Drop
• 4pm: Mascot Dance Party & Swag Drop
• 4:30pm: Mimi Sled Winners Announced – Must Be Present to Win
