U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejackets are permitted (you may bring your own or use any of our free lifejackets available at any Guest Service or Tube Exchange location). Other personal flotation devices, such as children’s water wings, are not allowed in any of the attractions. Picnic lunches are welcome, but alcoholic beverages, beverage containers that are not factory sealed, and glass containers of any kind are not allowed inside the park. Barbeque grills, personal tents or umbrellas are not permitted. Snorkels are not permitted for use in any attraction. Without your help, even properly treated pool water can spread germs. 1) Stay out of the water if you have diarrhea. 2) Shower before you get in the water. 3) Don’t pee or poop in the water. 4) Don’t swallow the pool water. 5) Parents-take take kids on bathroom breaks frequently! 6) Check diapers and change them in a bathroom or diaper-changing area!
If you have diarrhea on the day of your visit, please stop by Guest Services before entering the park. We’ll be happy to help you plan a visit for another day!
Puddle Jumper life vests (as well as adult and larger sized life jackets) are available for use at most Tube Exchange and Guest Service locations at no charge. You may bring in your own lifejacket, only if it is U.S. Coast Guard approved. Other personal flotation devices, such as children’s water wings, are not allowed in any of the attractions.
Personal Tube Rentals
Personal Tube Rentals (optional) are for the guest wearing a Splash Band with purchased Personal Tube Rental only. Sharing of rental tubes is not permitted. House tubes are provided on all attractions which require them.
KEEP YOUR TICKET STUBS! We will close our attractions when unsafe conditions are present (as determined by Management in conjunction with our weather service). We will re-open when weather conditions in our immediate area are safe to do so (we cannot guarantee ideal weather conditions). In the event we cannot re-open our attractions within 60 minutes, you’ll receive a full or half-day ticket for a return visit (you must exchange today’ ticket stub). No refunds are issued regardless of time spent in the park. While we cannot issue raincheck tickets before 60 minutes of attraction closure, we do offer a raincheck waitlist at Guest Services.
Height Requirements & Weight Advisory
Some of our attractions have height requirements for the safety of the guest. Please check signage at each attraction, or check out each attraction on our web site for the height requirement for that attraction. Approximately 70% of our attractions may be enjoyed by guests of any height (based comfort level)! Guests should always observe the attraction before choosing to ride. Guests who are pregnant or have physical ailments should consult their medical provider before riding. Guests over 250lbs. may experience abnormal exposure to discomfort or injury.
Water World is a big place, so it is important that parents designate a meeting place for family members. If a child is lost, stop by any Guest Service location or contact any uniformed team member.
First aid stations are located in each major section of the park. Please consult any park staff member or our park map for first aid locations.
Water World is a smoke-free environment and smoking or vaping is permitted in designated areas only. Designated smoking locations are located inside the park near the restrooms at the Watering Hole (at the Big Top), Near the entry to Voyage to the Center of the Earth (by Thunder Bay), near the top of Tortuga Run (at Calypso Cove) and directly outside of our entry plaza. For the location outside our entry plaza, guests will need to present today’s ticket stub and obtain a re-entry hand stamp at the designated turnstile. Water World does hereby prohibit the possession, consumption, use, display, transfer, distribution, sale, transportation, or growing of marijuana on or in any and all real property and facilities which it owns or operates.
Use of Go Pro Cameras, Selfie Sticks and other Guest Provided Technologies
For guest safety, “Go Pro” or similar camera devices must be firmly secured with a chest harness only. Selfie sticks are not permitted on any ride or attraction. Use of any photo or video device in restroom or changing areas is prohibited. Any inappropriate use of technology, as determined by management is prohibited. Drones are not permitted on Water World property.
Swim diapers are required for toddlers who are diaper dependent. Swim diapers are available for purchase at our Gift Shop for a minimal fee.
Personal Shade Structures
For the safety of our guests, personal umbrellas, tents or shade structures are not permitted inside the park. For your convenience, shelters and shady areas are located throughout the park. We also offer private rental cabanas.
